Dallas Forshew, RN, BSN

Dallas is an experienced and internationally recognized authority on ALS and has been the Manager of Clinical Research for the Forbes Norris ALS Treatment and Research Center since 2006.  Prior to that, she was ALS Clinic Manager at the UCSF ALS Treatment Center.  She has served on many national committees to further the care of ALS patients including ALS CARE, AAN Practice Parameters, ALS Research Group, Western ALS Research Group, Northeast ALS Research Group, AAN Quality Measures, PAC 10 California Research Consortium, and the Care Committee of the Golden West ALS Association Chapter.

Dallas has lectured and published extensively and has written numerous book chapters.  Her areas of research interest include; drug study development, quality of life, symptom management, cognitive issues, respiratory care, nutrition, and database development.
